Fieldtrip

PROJECT: eCommerce Direct-to-Consumer Website
fieldtripskin.com

When the Jack Black team launched the Fieldtrip brand, one of the most significant undertakings was the creation of a direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce website. We recognized that having a beautiful and highly functional site was imperative for the brand's initial success, especially since the products wouldn't be available in many physical retailers during the initial launch. The website not only played a crucial role in driving revenue but also served as a powerful tool to pique the interest of potential retail partners.

Beyond serving as a revenue generator, the website aimed to achieve several strategic objectives. It was designed to enhance brand visibility and engagement with the Gen Z target audience. It had to showcase the brand's unique personality, offering big imagery, interesting movement, and interactivity to create an immersive online experience.

Recognizing the need to help the internal team and our third-party development team understand the site's functionality, I taught myself Adobe XD. This enabled me to lead the design of the site in a way that helped move the feedback and development process significantly faster than expected.
